Giverny is a bright, cheery, clean, cool blue in the Annie Sloan palette. It is near the greener range of blues, without any red in it. It is a perfect color for a modern contemporary palette, and looks great with bright, warm colors (such as Barcelona Orange and Scandinavian Pink) and cool neutrals (such as Paloma) as well as greens from the Annie Sloan range. Giverny is named after the village in Northern France where Claude Monet lived and this brilliant blue was especially popular in early 20th Century interiors.

We purchased a pair of beautiful chairs and loved them, but there was a factory flaw that caused the leg of one chair to break. Unfortunately it happened when many businesses and factories were impacted during the pandemic. Tony tried to get a replacement but the company ended up discontinuing the chair. We so appreciated Tony’s dedication to making sure we were taken care of, over a LONG time of trying to find a replacement. Fantastic customer service.

It's an amazing eclectic shop in downtown Greenville (yeah that Greenville, so don't be offended).This ain't G'ville from 40 years ago; the worn out stores of textile rejects are gone. This is the hot new world class Greenville.Vintage Now Modern offers really neat finds at fair prices for the value and really unusual finds.

What an amazing store! The moment I walked in the doors I felt the magic! The staff was super friendly and super helpful, Vintage Now Modern has the greatest inventory, it is so varied and interesting. My husband and I wandered in to Vintage, Now Modern on a day trip to Greenville - we were sold. We LOVED having a good chat with Sissy, and she truly made us feel welcome. I loved the mix in pricing - modern AND vintage that were both super affordable and an amazing variety of products. We would visit VNM again in a heartbeat, and we plan to. Could not find a store near me who sold Annie Sloan chalk paint, so I ordered online. Was pleasantly surprised with the AMAZING customer service and friendly staff. The post office mishandled my delivery, and Tony fixed it immediately and sent out a new package. Very Highly Recommend!

VNM is my FAV store in Downtown Greenville! We try to stop by every time we are downtown and there's always something NEW or redecorated in the store! We love the owner & his amazing staff. The mirror proudly hangs for all to enjoy when they enter our home. Visit Vintage Now Modern if you're looking for beautiful, statement pieces.The staff member was approachable, helpful when asked for assistance, and good-natured. She made light conversation with us and shared very nice things about the owner, Tony. The store was clean, smelled good, and offered guests refreshments. We had a positive experience. My husband and I bought a Condo in downtown Greenville about a year ago and set out to furnish our home away from home (Phoenix,Az) in a way that was unique but still reflected us. They're wonderful here. Informative with any questions, they give you space to shop without hovering around everyone, and they're generous. I've now been 3 times in the last month. So glad they started opening a little earlier in the day, when I can generally come in easier. Love this place.

Stumbled upon this place by chance. It’s exquisite! This was our first time in the downtown Greenville area. We had just toured Furman University & were told we needed to visit Main Street. So happy we explored a bit. I need to spend a weekend here! There is just too much to see and do. I am a real fan of vintage and this store was just perfection! I also happen to be a lover of the sugarboo brand. We bought a piece for our son’s 17th birthday. I plan on adding more pieces to our home. Next time you are in Greenville, add some extra time to your stay and visit this lovely locally owned store!

I recently started Chalk painting and was recommended by a friend to only consider Annie Sloan products, paint, brushes etc. While there are a few distributors in CT where I live I came across the Vintage Now Modern website and so glad I did. This has got to be my favorite shopping experience since even before moving to Greenville 3 years ago. We would visit just to come into the shop and always always walked away with a unique purchase that reminds us of exactly that moment in time. Vintage now modern has a well curated collection of new and vintage items. I found a great knob in a basket for $2. It was next to a basket of old matchbox cars. These old ones are often covered in lead paint, which I brought to the attention of an employee. I hope they stop selling them or at least have a warning sign that they shouldn’t be for kids. Special note: all folks who work with old painted items shop have their lead levels checked regularly.

This is the best place in Greenville, SC to buy lighting. From lamps to chandeliers, you’ll find unique pieces that reflect your personality and make just the statement you were looking for. The staff here is out of this world!!!! Everyone was so nice and the store is so cute! The class was the best craft/paint/ class I have ever been to! I have to say that this may be the best customer service I have ever had in downtown Greenville ANYWHERE! They make it appoint to learn my name, knew what I wanted and went above to help me get it! I attended a workshop to learn how to refinish my old 1970's kitchen cabinets. Worth every $$ I paid. Went home and started my project that weekend. The workshop gave me the confidence to do this large project and I love the results!! If you are interested in learning how to refinish cabinets or furniture in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, this is the place to go to and learn how to do it.
